Manchester City midfielder Rodri has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association due to comments he made about referees after his team’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham earlier this month.
The charge comes as a result of Rodri’s post-match statements, in which he expressed his dissatisfaction with the refereeing, stating that it was “not fair”.
The Football Association’s decision to charge Rodri will likely lead to a disciplinary hearing to determine the outcome of the charge, which may result in a penalty for the Manchester City player.
